Tasmania – Imagine Sustainable Tourism – Specialist Panel Discussion

Join a Community conversation exploring Tasmania’s present and future opportunities highlighted by 2017 as the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development. Hosted by Judy Tierney, Tasmanian and national award winning journalist with ABC radio and television for over 35 years.

Panelists include:
– Ben Rea: Owner of Tasmanian EBike Adventures presents a fresh understanding from recent adventure research expedition in Gwaii Haanas National Park, Canada. Ben has a 25 year history of observing Wilderness tourism in Gwaii Haanas, an area internationally recognized for excellence in sustainable tourism.
– Peter Mooney: Recently finished as General Manager Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service for 12 years. Now consulting on sustainable tourism partnerships.
– Greg Lehman: A Tasmanian Aboriginal writer, historian and cultural heritage consultant.
– Andrew Timbs: Creative Director, Red Jelly, involved in a number of Tasmanian Tourism initiatives
