Grade 5/6 students at Mountain Heights School situated at Queenstown were excited to participate in the new program funded by the Tasmanian Community Fund called Diversity Matters Everyone Matters. As part of the final celebration event, students were presented with their books that had been collated from the work that they created during the program.

The work included reflections about stereotyping, prejudice and how discrimination can hurt people. A poster was also produced listing all the simple ways you can help people feel more included including things like “listen to people’s needs”, “ask people if they are ok” and “be kind”
