We recently partnered with Wild Care Tasmania to deliver Books in the Bush, a community event designed to explore how storytelling can be a powerful tool for challenging discrimination and fostering understanding. Set within the natural surrounds of Chauncy Vale Nature Reserve, the event offered a meaningful opportunity for connection, reflection, and shared learning.
Participants took part in a guided bushwalk through the reserve, using the experience to engage with stories that encourage empathy and inclusion. The day concluded with lunch prepared on an open fire, allowing time for relaxed conversation and community connection. Books in the Bush was a memorable event that highlighted the role storytelling can play in bringing people together and creating positive change.
