This is an exciting opportunity to build your public speaking skills through personal storytelling – with the added option of becoming a paid community educator.
The course is free and consists of two 5-hour sessions run over two successive weeks. During the course, you will be guided by trained storytellers to write and present your lived experience story confidently and safely to different audiences.
At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate and be eligible to be a human ‘book’ in the Hobart human library. This means telling your story with others in schools and workplaces as a part of A Fairer Worlds diversity and inclusion programs, for which you will receive an honorarium.
