Inspiring Change on the Road to Queenstown

🚗✨ We’re back from an inspiring journey to Queenstown, where we visited Mountain Heights School to share lessons on Diversity and Inclusion! Our road trip was more than just a journey through beautiful landscapes; it was an opportunity to connect with students and spark conversations that matter.

Educational Leader Jodie captured the magic of the trip perfectly: “One thing I love about going into schools—and this happened more than once at Mountain Heights—is watching a disengaged student, initially reluctant to participate, end up on the edge of their seat by the last story, listening intently, and then chatting with the human ‘book,’ not wanting to leave the room. That’s a win!” Moments like these remind us of the impact that storytelling and human connection can have in fostering empathy and inclusion. 💬🌟

Of course, we also embraced a bit of fun by kicking around a ball at Queenstown’s iconic gravel oval, adding a unique local touch to our visit! ⚽

A huge thank you to the Department for Education, Children and Young People for providing the subsidy that allows A Fairer World to travel to schools across Tasmania. Together, we’re building a future where empathy, respect, and inclusivity are at the core.
