A Fairer World is seeking applications from experienced leaders for the role of Chief Executive Officer. The CEO reports to, and works closely with, the Management Committee to ensure the organisation’s vision and strategy are implemented and all governance and compliance requirements are met. The appointee will be responsible for the operational performance of the organisation.

We change attitudes and behaviours through evidence-based training programs. At the heart of our programs are human ‘books’ who share their unique real-life experiences of prejudice and exclusion, of empathy and belonging.

The successful candidate will bring personal attributes including passion, energy, integrity and authenticity; skills including the ability to develop and deliver strategy, build relationships, advocate for the organisation, and deliver good governance, sound financial and administrative management and legal and regulatory compliance; and experience in leading successful teams, program delivery and diversifying revenue.
This is a Hobart-based 21hr/week permanent position with negotiable work hours and days. The position is classified in accordance with the SCHADS Industry Award 2010; salary will be negotiated between Level 8.1 to 8.3 subject to the appointee’s skills and experience.
